FPBA Convention!

I recently had the pleasure of attending the FPBA Convention in St. Louis this month (for the third time).

It really is a wonderful convention; not too large, but with tons of classes and wonderful instructors. It's always a fantastic experience and this year was no different.

In addition to teaching balloon classes again, I was also given the opportunity teach my first face painting class, and you guessed it! I was demonstrating how I use stencils.

This also marked the first time I was able to set up as a vendor, and the response was incredible. I went through half of my stock in three short days.

Dutch Bihary even bought one to use in one of his body paintings.

Dutch. Freaking. Bihary.

With all the running around I didn't bring my paints out much, but I did manage to remember to get this shot from my stencil Class.

Next year the FPBA Convention will be under new ownership, but hopefully I'll be back with lots of balloons, lots of stencils, and lots of fun!

If you've never been, I'd highly recommend going; especially if you've never been to a convention before. Here's the link!
